A disciplina de Inteligência Artificial (IA) estuda como criar sistemas capazes de realizar tarefas que, até então, eram exclusivas de seres humanos, como reconhecimento de fala, visão computacional, tomada de decisão e aprendizado de máquina. Durante as aulas, os alunos aprendem sobre algoritmos, redes neurais, lógica fuzzy, entre outras técnicas utilizadas na construção de sistemas inteligentes. A disciplina é importante para profissionais da área de tecnologia, que podem aplicar os conhecimentos em IA em diversas áreas, como saúde, finanças, transporte, entre outras, para otimizar processos e melhorar a qualidade de vida das pessoas.
