A disciplina é importante para formar profissionais capazes de projetar espaços que atendam às necessidades dos usuários, respeitando as normas técnicas e as questões estéticas. O conhecimento em Arquitetura é fundamental para arquitetos, urbanistas, engenheiros civis e outros profissionais da área, que devem projetar e construir edifícios e espaços públicos de qualidade.
