(…) YouTube has always been a place where you can find a person who is just like you. It is not about stopping the filter. Is about not including LGBTQ videos in the filter if their content should be available who are strugling about their sexuality. In a second note, Gigi also says that the filter might even make some YouTubers stop being their authentic selves not to be flagged as content that should be blocked by the filter (don't like this argument that much, tho) notes: The filter was not recently implemented (more research has to be done in order to find when it first started). But it was on the March of 2017 that big YouTubers steped foward about this issue and started the YouTubeIsOverParty hashtag. Based on users flaging – we don’t know who is flaging and whether they have homophobic bias. - last argument before conclusion - conclusion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nXtLQERSGk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSpJKC5q7I4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBule0xJUEI http://www.dazeddigital.com/artsandculture/article/35191/1/youtube-restrictions-are-making-lgbt-videos-invisible http://www.dazeddigital.com/artsandculture/article/35191/1/youtube-restrictions-are-making-lgbt-videos-invisible https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zr6pS07mbJc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uutBkzvrqlM
